Cancellation, Replacement, Refund

Cancellation Policy (Online Purchase Only)

An order can be cancelled within 3 days of placing it through our website (www.sarojjewellers.com) or by sending an email to Sarojjewellers02@gmail.com

  • In the event of a cancelled order, the refund will be made either by cheque or transferred to the original payment source used during the purchase through the Payment Gateway.
  • Any request for cancellation beyond the 3-day period will be subject to the Replacement Policy.
  • Cancellations are exempt from the Verification Policy.

Replacement Policy (Online Purchase Only)

  • All products are handcrafted and may vary slightly in appearance or ±10% in weight. Requests for replacements will not be entertained for such variations.
  • There will be no replacement for Gold Coins purchased.
  • Replacements will only be processed if the actual product along with the invoice is returned to Saroj Jewellers, Dehradun (or the registered office as applicable).
  • For gemstones and diamonds/solitaires, the customer must provide the accompanying SGL/EGL/IGL certificate to initiate replacement.
    • If certificates are not provided, re-certification costs will apply:
      • Gemstones: Rs. 500/-
      • Diamonds/Solitaires: Rs. 3,000/-
  • Replacement will be processed only after successful verification. Please refer to the Verification Policy for details.
  • Delivery of replacement items may take up to 30 business days from the date of verification.
  • Replacements are allowed free of cost if the product received is substantially different from the ordered item or has an inherent manufacturing defect despite quality checks.
  • Requests for replacement must be made within 48 hours of delivery via registered email, including Customer ID, Order ID, delivery date and time, and a clear description of the complaint. Requests after 48 hours will not be entertained.

Verification Policy (Online Purchase Only)

  • Any product returned for replacement/exchange is subject to a verification process by our team of trained experts.
  • The verification team ensures:
    1. The genuineness of the returned product.
    2. That the returned product matches the original order.
  • Verification is free of charge, except when certificates (SGL/EGL/IGL) are missing.
    • Re-certification charges apply:
      • Gemstones: Rs. 500/-
      • Solitaires: Rs. 3,000/-
  • Verification usually takes 7 days to complete.

Refund Policy (Online Purchase Only)

  • Refunds may be initiated if:
    • The order is cancelled as per the Cancellation Policy.
    • The customer chooses not to replace a returned item.
  • Refunds are allowed if the product received is substantially different from the ordered product, as verified through the Verification Policy.
  • There will be no refund for Gold Coins purchased.
  • If a product has an inherent manufacturing defect, it may be refunded or replaced at the customer’s request.
  • Refunds for returned items without replacement will only be processed after verification.
  • Returned goods must be sent to Saroj Jewellers, Dehradun (or the registered office) and verified as above.
  • Refunds typically take 10–15 days to process.
  • Refunds will be processed either via Account Payee Cheque issued in the customer’s name or transferred to the original payment source used during the purchase.
